C.Y.B.O.R.G.S. Assimilate U.S. Open Award

Congratulations C.Y.B.O.R.G.S. from Mt. Washington Middle School in Mount Washington, KY!

Thank you for representing Kentucky well in winning the 3rd place Research Quality award at the 2008 FLL U.S. Open Championship held at Wright State University in Dayton, OH on May 7-9, 2009.

The Head Judge Advisor said that he remembered seeing the C.Y.B.O.R.G.S. compete and that they did very well in the competition. He indicated that they were very professional and gracious in all areas and had nothing but good things to say about them.

Hopefully C.Y.B.O.R.G.S. learned a lot while having fun at the competition. We hope to see them again in the coming year's "Smart Move" competition.

"Bubble Gum" Excels at 2008 FLL World Festival

Congratulations "Bubble Gum" from Campbell County Middle School in Alexandria, KY!

Thank you for representing Kentucky well in winning your 3rd place Innovative Solution Award at the 2008 FLL World Festival in Atlanta last week.

Hopefully you had a wonderful time with all the festivities and activities along with the competition in wrapping up the Climate Connection season. You showed at our Kentucky FLL State Competition what "gracious professionalism" means, and I'm sure that helped tremendously in preparing for the World Festival.

Keep up the great work and good luck next year. Be sure to spread the word about FIRST LEGO League with your friends and classmates and get ready for the upcoming "Smart Move" season.
